Top 13 homemade Mother's Day gift ideas

I had grand plans. Grand, grand plans of making wonderful things for my Mum for Mother's Day and for the school's Mother's Day stall. We all know what happened and now none of that will happen this year. I promise I'll give a hand at next year's Mother's Day stall at the school but in the mean time, I'll share a few of the ideas I pinned on Pinterest. Just in case you were thinking of doing something similar.

This is what I made Mum last year along with Lemon Date Bars. She absolutely loved it. She was the kind of woman who had everything and always enjoyed the simple things and things that were made from the heart. Here's what else I pinned.

Post It Notes

There's so many other ideas out there on the Internet. Save yourself a couple of dollars and stay away from the store thinking that your Mum would like a new $100 bottle of perfume or appliance. I'm sure we all appreciate the little things in life. I'm looking forward to seeing what my two munchkins buy for me at the $2 Mother's Day stall at school. I bet it will be something edible, for them!
